St. Patrick's Day always catches me by surprise. Along with Easter. And Washington's birthday, Groundhog Day, my wife's birthday, and Labor Day. What can I say? I'm all about Arbor Day.

Recipes With Irish Flavor
It's particularly embarrassing because I'm part Irish. It's a small part (25%) but it's generally a pretty active part. You know: food, booze and dresses. Kilts, I mean kilts. Sheesh, I'm gonna get booted out of the union if I keep this up.

Lifting a Few
What's a holiday without sharing some spirits? In fact, we'll probably head up to my neighbor Irish Willie's apartment and open up some beers. And cocktails. And whiskey. Little doubt there will be whiskey flowing. And wait until you hear us singing. The singing is fun except for the part where I don't know any words to the songs. I'll make sure to use a few of these toasts, too.

The Real Deal
"We gotta go to Ireland. We gotta go to Ireland." That's been me for years now. I hope one day I get to go. But you, dear reader, can go! I think (what am I, your accountant?). And if you do, here's what you have to see.

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day With Children
I have children. Wee children I mean. Not the grown up kind that have flown the coop and left behind stacks of university bills. No, I have kids still running around and I'll tell you what: Holidays are 1,000% better with little ones around. Here's how to have a blast with them on St. Patrick's Day.
