About Today: Is "Hunger Games" OK for Kids?

Today Full disclosure: I haven't read Hunger Games. Or seen the movie. I have acted out a version of it involving the clock striking 3:30pm and an office printer that seemed somewhat ominous (it was making noise). Luckily I proved triumphant over my hunger games with a dollar bill and a Snickers. Bob: 1, Hunger Games: 0. It sounds pretty intense, but if your tween/teen has already read it then good luck keeping 'em away. (Frankly, I'm really glad my daughter is not only too young to read it, but also prefers princesses and the happy kind of fairy tales.)
