When I was down South, no one ever said to me, "Y'all come back, ya hear?" So I don't know if it's a stereotypical comment, or if I'm just not welcome back. I'd hate to think it was the latter. I mean, how am I gonna meet Dolly?

Let's Eat

Orlando's First Winter Garden Harvest Festival
Local foods are the way to go, so it's great to see another event in Orlando reaching out to folks.

A Driving Tour of North Carolina's Outer Banks
Since this includes the Wright Brothers National Memorial, I wonder if they'd be annoyed that this is a driving tour rather than a simple flight. Or maybe they'd be like, "This has climate control, 11 air bags and gets 38 miles to the gallon?! Forget flying! Also, what's an airbag?"

Jazz Music: Uniquely Southern American
Despite its humble beginnings, I always viewed jazz music as somewhat unapproachable because it had an air about it. Fancy, if you will. But it's like any other type of music. You listen to what you like, and since you gotta start somewhere, here's a great list to get me... you... us started.
