From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
When I was a kid, I ate three things: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, spaghetti, and American cheese. The fact that I lived to adulthood is a miracle. The fact that my Mom lived until I lived to adulthood is a double miracle, and proof that she's a tough lady.

Healthy Recipes for Kids
The trick with finding healthy recipes for kids is that they're unlikely to eat the same kinds of food you enjoy (or at least, choke down, because you know it's good for you.)

10 Quick and Healthy Breakfast Recipes for Kids
Healthy recipes for kids need to be tempting to their palates. The fact that these recipes are also more tempting to my palate is purely a coincidence, and does not in any way mean that I failed to grow up.

10 Quick and Healthy Dinner Recipes
But I mean, honestly. Look at this and tell me you don't want to have it for dinner.

10 Healthy Snacks for Kids
And then there's this snack idea, which you can prepare in five minutes (plus time for freezing.)

About Today: 10 Spring Fashion Trends to Love

About.com

From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
Where I live, it's still cold enough outside to make you long for your childhood snowsuit, but the calendar says that spring's on the way, and I choose to believe it. For one thing, it gives me an excuse to refresh the old wardrobe.

10 Spring Fashion Trends to Love
Most of us can't afford to buy a ton of new stuff every spring. The goal, then, is to buy a few things that will make what we already own look brand-new. I tend to invest heavily in belts, for some reason.

10 Spring Makeup Must-Haves
Another cheap way to renew your look: Makeup. That is, of course, provided that you shop carefully and don't just keeping tossing things in your shopping cart because they're shiny. In other words, do what I say, not what I do.

About Today: Spring Cleaning for Lazy People

If you can't see this email, click here

About.com

From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
My goal for this winter - the only one, really - was to learn how to pick up after myself like a normal grown-up person. To see socks that have escaped the hamper, to remove dust before it forms into snow-drift-like formations on the TV, to throw away the mail before it develops thoughts and feelings and kills us in our sleep.

Spring Cleaning: A Complete Checklist
And guess what? It worked. I'm not going to tell you the place is spotless now, but I can usually find stuff, which is a huge improvement.

15-Minute Cleanups for Every Room
It turns out that if you spend a few minutes a day on picking up your house, you don't have to live in filth.

How to Declutter Your Home
Which is super, but of course I figured this out right in time for spring cleaning. Which is necessarily, picking-up skills notwithstanding.

Spring Cleaning Is for Yards, Too
Because without a large-scale cleaning, we're going to spend all summer staring at our winter clothes. And that's just no way to start the warm weather season.
