Christmas is around the corner, and it struck me that we don't always share the joy. We are are so busy with IEP meetings, with paperwork, with pressure to live up to everyone else's expectations of us, we don't stop and remember the things that we experience that give us joy. So, share yours!

Share the Joy!
This Christmas, one of my autistic boys decided to make Christmas cards for each of his "friends," his classmates in my autistic class. What a surprise, for a boy who never really saw any need to have friends! It reminds me we just really don't spend enough time sharing the reasons we do what we do!
