Write New Years Resolutions With Your Students
As adults, we realize that writing our New Years resolutions is the easy part; keeping them is the real challenge. That's why it can be very effective to write New Years resolutions with your students. It's more than just a writing lesson. Children learn how to aspire, plan, and strive toward practical, self-determined goals.

While we're on the subject, what is your teaching-related New Years resolution for 2010? This year, I aim to find a truly unique professional development experience (workshop, seminar, book, etc.) that will stretch my horizons and force me to think outside of the box.
