From Beverly Hernandez, your Guide to Homeschooling
Continue with your back to school preparations by preparing your "classroom." See how others have set up their classroom in the photo gallery.

Setting up a School Area
The "Back to School - Starting the Year off Right" Series continues! Whether you have a whole room for your schooling or just a small area, set up your area and supplies to be easily accessible and organized.

Where We Study
Homeschool classrooms come in all shapes and sizes. New pictures have been added to the photo gallery, but we could use more. I'd like to show more study areas to share ideas for homeschoolers to make the most of the room they have. Submit your pictures of your classroom or study area.

Make A Pie! - A Simple Game of Fractions
As you begin or deepen your study of fractions, the Make a Pie fraction game is a perfect hands-on tool to make learning fractions exciting and fun. It will give your children a clear understanding of the concept fractions. Equivalent fractions are easy to grasp while playing the game and manipulating the pizza pie pieces. It's an excellent tool for learning fractions.
