Are Robots Replacing Teachers?
Yes! Around the world, scientists and educators are testing out robots who serve as teacher's aides, playmates to developmentally disabled students, and even primary instructors for subjects such as the English language. Some people contend that robotic educators could be more patient, intelligent, and ultimately effective than their human counterparts.

I think we probably will see robots in the classroom more and more in decades to come. However, I dispute the idea that technology will ever fully replace (or duplicate) warm, caring, imperfectly human flesh-and-blood teachers.
