My Halloween resources are still up, and there are lots of opportunities to use them. I also start the next technique from Teach Like a Champion, Technique 23, Call and response.

Teach like a Champion -- Technique 23
Technique 23 is "Call and Response," which moves questioning strategy away from the individual toward the whole class. An effective strategy for the classroom, since it encourages students to normalize routinized information.

October Means Just One Thing . . .
October means Halloween, and it's a great time to exploit your student's excitement with word problems, dot to dots and edit's for Halloween.
