Laura K. Lawless
From Laura K. Lawless, your Guide to French Language
Bienvenue au numéro huit. Aujourd'hui (today), nous allons apprendre les magasins, faire la négation et utiliser les verbes réfléchis.
Vocabulary
Shopping
The names of stores and markets in French.

Grammar
Negatives
Learn how to make sentences negative with the two-part French negative adverb.

Reflexive Pronouns
Try to memorize these, then move on to the lesson on reflexive verbs.

Verbs
Reflexive Verbs
Reflexive verbs are used with a reflexive pronoun in addition to the subject pronoun, because the subject is performing the action of the verb upon him/her/itself.

Pronunciation
D
The letter D is similar in French and English, so this should be easy.

L
The French L is pronounced with the tongue against the upper teeth, rather than behind them.
