From Beverly Hernandez, your Guide to Homeschooling
Happy Cinco de Mayo tomorrow! Mother's Day is this Sunday. Mother's Day was first observed at Andrews Church in Grafton, West Virginia, on May 10, 1908.

Homeschool Graduates
I had the privilege of selecting and sending my neighbor's senior picture to his homeschool group for their yearbook last year. It was an honor to be involved and was also my inspiration to create the Homeschool Graduate Showcase.

Submit your graduating senior's photo and profile to be included in the Homeschool Graduate Showcase. I appreciate your help in building a Homeschool Graduate Showcase that we can be proud of.

Mother's Day Coupons and Printables
Mother's Day is this Sunday. Are you ready? Here's a printable coupon book for you to make for your mother. Spend some time reading the Mother's Day poems and enjoying each other. More Mother's Day fun:

Free Pretend Play Kits
Pretending is an important part of childhood. Pretend play builds social, emotional, language and thinking skills. We can encourage pretend play and nurture the imagination by providing resources that spark children's imaginations.
