From Deb Peterson, your Guide to Continuing Education
I've been wanting to write about life stories since I read Stanley Fish's Life Report in his blog last October. I found Fish's response to a challenge by David Brooks fascinating, and have been meaning to take the time to write my own life report. I'm glad I waited. In the meantime, Ron Gross and Sue Salko have written a wonderful new piece for the site about Telling the Stories of Your Life. Ron and Sue teach classes in writing this kind of memoir, and I'm telling you, it makes me wish I lived on Long Island. The good news is that I don't have to live there to participate in the satisfying learnings that take place when you write down your past. Ron and Sue tell us how to go about it, and even how to learn how to teach your own classes in life review.

How to Choose an Online High School
If you, or someone you know, dropped out of high school and has always wanted to realize the dream of earning that diploma, it's easier than ever. Online high schools make it possible to earn your diploma in the privacy of your own home, eliminating the embarrassment and uncertainty of having to show up in a classroom. The only trouble is choosing a school that is right for you, and legitimate. Don't be scammed. Guest author Tom Nixon shares his advice on How to Choose an Online High School. Share it with a friend. You might be doing him or her a huge favor.
