From Allen Grove, your Guide to College Admissions: U.S.

Every August some of the major players in the college admissions field publish their rankings. In the first week of August, Forbes and Princeton Review released their 2012 rankings of undergraduate colleges. Later in the month we'll see U.S. News & World Report.

Forbes 2012 List of America's Top Colleges Now Available

Unlike US News & World Report, Forbes does not take a school's reputation into account and instead tries to keep the emphasis on the quality of teaching and value of the degree. Read about the 2012 Forbes rankings.

Princeton Review's Top-Ranked Green Colleges

This week The Princeton Review released its 2012 edition of The Best 376 Colleges. One of the features of the book is a "Green Rating" for each college. Some colleges do much better than others when it comes to practices, policies, and classes that value sustainable practices. Learn about the nation's 16 greenest colleges.
