Bill Gates Discusses Teacher Effectiveness
Bill Gates was recently interviewed about the topic of teacher effectiveness. Through his work for the Gates Foundation, he is becoming a leading voice on the American educational system. His vision for the future may or may not ever come to fruition, but it's a compelling opinion nonetheless.

I was particularly intrigued by the concept of using student "impressions" as a factor in evaluating teacher effectiveness. Kind of scary, no?
