When I was asked to review a book about Floortime, I realized I needed to learn more. So I did, and I share it with you. I also have new resources up for Thanksgiving: cutting pages for students needing practice with scissors. Finally, there are new resources on integers that should be helpful, as well.

Floortime - Scan or Panacea
When I was asked to review a book from Met Schools in New York, I felt I needed to learn more about "floortime." So many treatments/strategies for children with autism are scams, how do we know if they have real value?

Floortime
I don't want to give it entirely away, but I did learn enough about Floortime to find it can be a valuable means to help children learn language, build relationships with significant adults and prepare for school.

Thanksgiving Cutting
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I've created some new cutting worksheets for students who benefit from cutting as they build fine motor skills and hand strength.
