2011 Summer Reading Programs for Kids
Each summer for the past 13 years I've hosted the About.com Homeschooling Summer Reading Club. Your children can use the same reading time for other reading programs at your local library's summer reading programs and/or some of these reading programs.

June bugs and Ladybugs
I saw my first June bug of the season tonight. My kids get a kick out of watching me freak out and run from June bugs, which I've learned are actually May Beetles.

Alphabet Coloring Pages
Print the alphabet coloring pages to make a coloring book for each letter of the alphabet. Each letter has a cover page and 9 alphabet coloring pages.

June Fundays Calendar
June is National Fruit and Vegetable Month, National Dairy Month, and National Zoo and Aquarium Month. June also brings:Check out the June Fundays Calendar and the June Coloring Calendar.
