Family, Questions, -RE Verbs, Nasal Vowels
Laura K. Lawless
From Laura K. Lawless, your Guide to French Language
Bonjour, comment ça va ? C'est le numéro six cette semaine. Nous allons apprendre la famille, les questions, les verbes -RE et les voyelles nasales.
Vocabulary
Family
It's always fun to talk about your family - learn how to say mother, father, brother, sister, etc.

Grammar
Questions
There are four ways to ask questions in French - here's how.

Verbs
-RE Verbs
-RE verbs are the third and final group of regular French verbs.

Pronunciation
Nasal Vowels
Nasal vowels are pronounced by pushing air through the mouth and nose, rather than just the mouth. These can be tricky for students, so read this lesson, click through to the different nasal sounds (an, en, etc.), and practice with the sound files.

M
The French M is similar to the English M, except when it's nasal.

N
The N, too, is similar and different for the same reasons.
